Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (drumettes & flats)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper (or more for extra kick)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional, for color)
  • ½ tsp dried oregano (or thyme)
  • 1 tbsp butter, melted (for brushing)
  • Lemon wedges & fresh parsley (for garnish)

In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and oregano.
Toss in the chicken wings, making sure they’re well coated.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, but for the best flavor, marinate for 2-4 hours.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 375-400°F).
Lightly oil the grates and place the wings in a single layer.
Grill for 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are golden brown and crispy, with an internal temperature of at least 165°F.
During the last 5 minutes, brush with melted butter for extra flavor.
