Ingredients
β For the Salmon:
- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each) π
- 2 tbsp olive oil π«
- 2 tbsp butter π§
- 2 tbsp capers, drained π’
- 1 clove garlic, minced π§
- 1 lemon, sliced π
- Β½ tsp dried oregano πΏ
- Β½ tsp dried thyme πΏ
- Salt & pepper to taste π§
β For Garnish:
- Fresh parsley, chopped πΏ
- Extra lemon wedges π

Execution
Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, pepper, oregano, and thyme. ππ§
Sear the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 3-4 minutes until crispy. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes. π₯π₯
Add Capers & Butter: Reduce heat to low, add butter, minced garlic, and capers. Squeeze lemon juice over the salmon and let it cook for 1-2 more minutes while spooning the sauce over the fillets. ππ§
Serve & Enjoy: Plate the salmon, drizzle with the buttery caper sauce, and garnish with fresh parsley and extra lemon wedges. ππΏπ
