Ingredients
4 slices sourdough bread (or ciabatta, focaccia)
6 oz sliced turkey breast (fresh or deli)
¼ cup pesto sauce (store-bought or homemade)
4 slices fresh mozzarella (or provolone)
1 small tomato, sliced
½ avocado, sliced (optional)
1 tbsp butter (for toasting)

Execution
Assemble the Sandwich:
Spread pesto on one side of each slice of bread.
Layer with turkey, mozzarella, tomato slices, and avocado (if using).
Close the sandwich with the other slice of bread.
Toast to Perfection:
Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, pressing lightly until the bread is golden and the cheese is slightly melted.
Serve & Enjoy:
Slice in half and serve warm.
Pair with a side salad, chips, or a bowl of soup.

- Want extra crunch? Add arugula or a handful of baby spinach for a peppery bite!
